Game Overview
Everwing is a Facebook Messenger game that has millions of people around the world hooked. It's mechanics are pretty simple and it has awesome graphics. You start by selecting a character fairy that you would take on your adventure. Each fairy has a special ability that suit your preferences.
This game does not only make you feel that you are in another world, but it also helps you connect with other people by sending requests and competing with them to gain marvelous prizes.
The world of Everwing
In this game, the main goal is to get as much gold coins and trophies as you can. After which, you can use your experience to level up, purchase, and upgrade your fairies and sidekicks. There are different areas in this game.
Adventure Mode
This is the primary game mode in Everwing and was actually the only game mode that existed before the messenger update. Here you can fight endless waves of monsters and bosses, each wave getting harder and the bosses attack faster. Depending on your level and the fairy that you are using, you can gain as much coins as you can, garnering loots like gems and other items which will then be converted into points. You also have the option to start a tournament and challenge your friends in Facebook, which by the end of the week, the player with the highest points shall gain a significant amount of trophies, which will be very, very useful for future purchases.
Quest Mode
When you have acquired other fairies and dragons a.k.a "sidekicks", you may send those you are not currently using in the "Quests Mode", here you can still gain coins, and your dragons can still acquire EXP even when you are not actually playing. Depending on the duration of the quest and the fairy you are using, your level 1 dragon can level up to 5 or 6 in one go, and you don't even have to do anything! This mode is only possible once you have at least one extra fairy for your quest and your main one for adventure.
Boss Raids
This mode is great if you have already upgraded your fairy's firepower and if you have acquired a few powerful sidekicks to take with you. Boss raids can give you large sum of gold coins, trophies, and even legendary dragon eggs! This mode can be done alone, but it would be better if you do this in a group, with active players. This way you can easily defeat the bosses and gain more prizes. Boss Raids reach up to Level 10, with each boss having different types and rates of attacks. Even if you have encountered these bosses in Adventure Mode, expect them to be different in Boss Raids mode. It's not only the Tiny Monster Queen who brings minions this time, other bosses can also have monster aids, icicle powers, strong goblins and yes, even the firebolt comet monster.
Since you can gain a lot from this mode, do not expect it to be a piece of cake. You also have a limited amount of energy you can use for a certain period, so yes, your chances are not unlimited. If all your energy are spent, you need to wait for a few minutes (5 minutes per energy). Sometimes, you can also get energy in Adventure Mode when you defeat bosses, just search for the Lightning Bolt item, though it rarely appears but it does and adds up to your energy even when your energy bar is full (you can see +1 and so on). But if you are getting a bit impatient, you can purchase additional energy using your trophies, but it's not highly recommended, only when you really need to.
Challenge Mission
This mode randomly pops up at the bottom of your screen. Depending on the mission type, this mode can give you quite a number of trophies. It can either challenge you to play with a friend or a group in messenger or to challenge a friend who has not tried playing the game. It can also challenge you to get a specific number of points for a prize. While this mode can help you gain a lot of trophies (if you do not break you streak of completing missions) it can send several requests to your friends and reflects on your messenger inbox. This is the reason why others, especially those who don't play the game, find it annoying sometimes and label you as spamming (which is true, but come on, we can't help it). It is highly recommended to send requests to those who are least likely to be bothered by your endless requests to play the game.
This covers up the game in general. If you are a new player, it would be best to be familiar with the different ways in playing the game. You need to start with the basics and gradually work up to get higher points and more money and trophies. Upgrade your main fairy then when you have enough gold, purchase others which have special abilities to help you throughout the game.
